THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – October 23, 2013 – Teledyne Technologies Incorporated (NYSE:TDY) announced today that Robert (Bob) W. Steenberge, vice president and chief technology officer, will be retiring from that position effective December 31, 2013. Following his retirement, Mr. Steenberge will continue to serve as a consultant to Teledyne, advising on significant technological and business issues. Concurrently, Edwin Roks will become vice president and chief technology officer, effective January 2, 2014.

In 1976, Mr. Steenberge joined Teledyne Electronics as a senior systems engineer and subsequently became vice president, engineering. In 1985, he transferred to Teledyne Ryan Electronics as president and general manager. Bob continued to hold senior technical positions across Teledyne's electronics and instrumentation businesses, and became corporate vice president and chief technology officer of Teledyne in 2000.
Dr. Roks joined Teledyne with the acquisition of Teledyne DALSA, Inc. in 2011, serving as executive vice president and general manager of the company's professional and scientific imaging division. Prior to Teledyne, Dr. Roks had a distinguished career with Phillips Semiconductors and its spin-off companies. Dr. Roks holds a Ph.D. from the University of Twente, a M.Sc. degree from the Technical University of Eindhoven, and a B.Sc. degree from the College of Advanced Technology, Breda.
