Cyber is the “fifth domain” of modern warfare. We all see regular reports of cyber attacks against government agencies, critical infrastructure and private companies. A successful cyber attack can cause a data breach, or even disrupt critical systems and halt operations. Cyber crime is estimated to cost the global economy about $2.5 Trillion per year. Virtual currencies have helped facilitate extortionate threats such as ransomware, and these attacks are on the rise in 2023.
Teledyne’s cybersecurity team is dedicated to protecting our company from attacks – but also strives to make the entire cybercommunity a safer place.
