Stephen DeVita is President of Teledyne Environmental, which unites Teledyne Process, Air Quality and Safety businesses and Lab and Field Instruments businesses under a single organization within Teledyne's Instrumentation Segment. Prior to this role, Mr. DeVita served as President and General Manager of Teledyne Process, Air Quality and Safety Instruments.

Mr. DeVita joined Teledyne through the acquisition of Monitor Labs in 2002 and has held leadership roles in Engineering, R&D, Sales, and Business Development, culminating in his 2015 appointment as Vice President and General Manager of Teledyne Monitor Labs and Teledyne Analytical Instruments. In 2019, he also assumed executive leadership of an acquired group of companies manufacturing gas and flame detection instruments and sensors used to protect personnel in industrial and gas utility markets.

In addition to more than 30 years of gas detection experience at Teledyne, Mr. DeVita served as Senior Vice President and General Manager for an X-ray detection company, overseeing its Industrial Inspection and Security Division, and as Senior Product Line Manager for a medical device manufacturer, managing critical products used in open-heart surgery. He holds a Master of Science in Mathematics from the University of Vermont.
