Rickard Lindvall

Mr. Lindvall was appointed Executive Vice President and General Manager for the Solutions Line of Business in 2020. Prior to this he was Vice President and General Manager for the Flir Instrument division, 2010 to 2020. Before that he served as VP Operations in the Flir Instruments division, 2008 to 2010. From 2003 to 2008, he was VP of R&D in the Flir Instruments divisions. Before joining Flir in 2003, Mr. Lindvall worked at Flextronics, 1998 to 2003. He ad a role as Director of design, responsible for 3 design centers in Flextronics. Prior to that role in Flextronics, he had serval other roles in the company leading R&D and Industrialization teams. Before he joined Flextronics, he worked at Atlas Copco 1994 to 1998 managing their Industrialization effort at their Controls division. From 1992 to 1994 he worked at ABB with Industrialization of Substations Relays. Mr. Lindvall has a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Linköping, Sweden.
