Stephen Blackwood oversees the global functions of Strategic Sourcing, Corporate Treasury, Tax and Risk Management for Teledyne. This includes responsibility for all financing activities in order to support Teledyne’s capital requirements as well as managing the company’s relationships with banks and other external debt providers.
Mr. Blackwood joined Teledyne in 2008. Since that time, Teledyne has completed over $5 Billion in debt financings to support the company’s acquisition and growth strategies as well as diversify funding sources.
Before joining Teledyne, Mr. Blackwood held similar treasury roles with companies in the biotechnology industry including Amgen, Inc. as well as Pacific Energy Partners, a private equity portfolio company until its sale in 2006. Mr. Blackwood has completed over $11 Billion in financings over his career comprised of various forms of capital.
Mr. Blackwood holds a MBA degree from the Else School of Management at Millsaps College and attended the Stanford Graduate School of Business Executive Education. He is a member of the National Association of Corporate Treasurers and the Financial Executives Institute.
