Who or what inspired you to become an inventor?
In college, I saw a picture of the first transistor, invented by Bardeen, Brattain, and Shockley. I was awestruck by how deeply that creative expression of semiconductor physics by ingenious technical minds had transformed and enriched the modern world. I became an engineer dreaming of useful inventions.
