Robert A. Malone has been the Executive Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of First Sonora Bancshares, Inc., a privately-held community bank, since 2014. Mr. Malone is also the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of The First National Bank of Sonora, Texas (d/b/a Sonora Bank), a community bank owned by First Sonora Bancshares, Inc., since 2014. He joined First Sonora Bancshares and Sonora Bank in 2009 as President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Malone was an Executive Vice President of BP plc, an integrated oil and gas company, and was Chairman of the Board and President, BP America Inc. from 2006 to 2009. Mr. Malone has been a director of Halliburton Company, a provider products and services to the energy industry, since 2009 and its Lead Director since 2018, a director of Peabody Energy Corporation, a coal mining company, since 2009, and its Non-Executive Chairman of the Board since 2016. Mr. Malone is a member of our Audit Committee and our Personnel and Compensation Committee.
