Celebrating Black History Month
Teledyne recognizes February as Black History Month in the United States. Black History Month celebrates diversity, promotes unity, provides an opportunity to learn about people from different cultures and backgrounds, and serves as a reminder that black history (just like Hispanic, Asian, European, and Native history) is U.S. history. Each year, the Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH) designates a theme. For 2022 it is “Black Health & Wellness” which acknowledges the legacy of Black scholars and medical practitioners and considers activities, rituals, and initiatives that Black communities have done to be well.
