Tell us a little about your current role and what you enjoy most about it?
I am responsible for the Finance
team of Teledyne Aerospace Electronics, which consists of two businesses –
Teledyne Controls and Teledyne Battery Products. We provide solutions that
collect, manage, and deliver aircraft data, and we manufacture the batteries
designed for a wide variety of Aviation and Military applications. In my
position, I enjoy the collaboration with my colleagues from many different
backgrounds and appreciate the opportunities to support their decision-making
processes from a finance standpoint.
What are you most proud of in your life – career, accomplishments, etc. ?
I started my career at
Teledyne twelve years ago as a CPA and was very fortunate that I worked for
strong leaders who always put their employees’ success first. Their leadership
has formed my belief of how a leader should behave in the business environment.
Over the years, I grew into a leadership role and implemented this philosophy
into my own managerial style, and some of my employees are currently serving as
managers within Teledyne companies.
I am very proud that I mentored
these employees as they are now helping their teams succeed and leading their
companies in the right direction.
