Teledyne Technologies Selected by NASA
for $7 million Contract Extension
LOS ANGELES - July 11, 2002 - Teledyne Technologies Incorporated (NYSE:TDY) announced today that Teledyne Brown Engineering, Inc. received a one-year contract extension for $7 million from NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center for work performed under the Propellants, Pressurants, and Calibration (PP&C) contract.
During the one-year extension, Teledyne, as the sole contractor, will furnish the necessary management, personnel, equipment, and materials to operate and maintain the propellant and pressurant generating systems, storage, and distribution systems.
The services provided on the PP&C contract support multiple research and development activities of both Marshall Space Flight Center and its on-site contractors, including work on the Space Shuttle, International Space Station, and in test areas, shops, and laboratories. Teledyne will also provide the management and operation of the calibration facilities at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center.
