Teledyne Technologies Relocates Corporate Headquarters

LOS ANGELES - September 28, 2001 - Teledyne Technologies Incorporated (NYSE:TDY) announced today that it is relocating its corporate headquarters to the company's existing electronics and communications facility in West Los Angeles as of Monday, October 1.

"The relocation of Teledyne's corporate employees, currently based in a leased headquarters office in Los Angeles, is part of our overall effort to reduce cost and improve operating efficiencies across the company," said Robert Mehrabian, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Teledyne Technologies. "In addition to reducing our lease expenses, we are able to combine support functions and eliminate duplicative management in our Electronics and Communications segment."

All corporate headquarters employees will have new telephone and fax numbers as of October 1. Including the 33 relocated employees, a total of 388 Teledyne employees will be based at the West Olympic location.
