Teledyne Technologies Sets Annual Meeting Date

LOS ANGELES - February 25, 2002 - Teledyne Technologies Incorporated (NYSE:TDY) announced that the Company's Annual Meeting of Stockholders will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2002, in Los Angeles.

Holders of Teledyne Technologies Incorporated Common Stock at the close of business on March 11, 2002, are entitled to notice of and to vote at the meeting, and will be mailed a Proxy Statement. In accordance with the advance notice provisions in our charter and by-laws, the new deadline for stockholders to submit nominations or other proper business for the 2003 Annual Meeting is November 12, 2002.
