Ruth E. Bruch

Ruth E. Bruch served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Kellogg Company from February 2006 to February 2009. She has served on the board of BNY Mellon from July 1, 2007 to present and, formerly, director of Mellon Financial Corporation since 2003.
Prior to joining Kellogg, Ms. Bruch served as senior vice president and chief information officer of Lucent Technologies, Inc., a leading global supplier of communications networking equipment. Previously, she served as vice president and chief information officer of Visteon Corporation, a leading full-service supplier that delivers consumer-driven technology solutions to automotive manufacturers worldwide. She was also president and chief operating officer of ZoneTrader.com, a Chicago-based start-up that implemented Web-based asset management and exchange programs, and from 1993 to 1999 Ms. Bruch was employed by Union Carbide Corporation, achieving the position of vice president and chief information officer. She has also held strategic planning and IT management positions at JGA Consulting, Continental Bank Corporation and First Bank System, Inc.
Ms. Bruch holds a bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Iowa.
