George C. Bobb III

​​George C. Bobb III is the President of Teledyne Controls, LLC and Teledyne Aerospace Electronics. Teledyne Controls provides data management solutions designed to help aircraft operators collect, manage and distribute aircraft data more efficiently. As President of Teledyne Aerospace Electronics, Mr. Bobb also has responsibility for Teledyne Battery Products, which provides lead acid aircraft batteries for general aviation, and business and light jet applications. Mr. Bobb also serves as a Vice President of Teledyne Technologies Incorporated.

Prior to his current roles, Mr. Bobb served in a variety of corporate positions at Teledyne including Chief Compliance Officer, Vice President – Contracts and Information Technology, and Deputy General Counsel of Litigation. He had also served as an Associate General Counsel of Teledyne Technologies and General Counsel of the Engineered Systems and Digital Imaging Segments.​

Prior to joining Teledyne in 2008, Mr. Bobb was the Deputy Chief of Staff of the National Security Division of the United States Department of Justice. During his tenure at the Department of Justice, he also served as Counsel for National Security Law and Policy.​

Mr. Bobb holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Coast Guard Academy and a law degree from the Yale Law School. As an active duty Coast Guard officer, he served as a Boarding Officer and Deck Watch Officer on the United States Coast Guard Cutter Vigilant, and then as Commanding Officer of the United States Coast Guard Cutter Marlin. Mr. Bobb subsequently served as a liaison for the Coast Guard to the United States House of Representatives.​

Mr. Bobb is the recipient of the United States Attorney General's Award for Excellence in Furthering the Interests of U.S. National Security, the Coast Guard Achievement Medal and the Coast Guard Commendation Medal.
